Qiantong Cluture
Xufu, a warlock in Qin Dynasty, with command from the emperor of shipping east to Fusang(Japan now) for elixir, recruited many trained young boys and girls and several hundred of craftmen in Raoan(Qiantong town of Yanshan county in Cangzhou city now), but didnt return, which has taken the advanced culture of Qin Dynasty to Japan and promoted the local agriculture, handicraft industry, metal smelting, pharmacy, spinning to fast development, which also was the first of its kind of friendly relations between China and Japan. We call that historic phenomenon Qiantong Cluture After several years researching and investigation, we found that Qiantong town of Yanshan county in Cangzhou city now is used to be the original place for Xufu to recruit and training, also the fountainhead of the friendly relations between China and Japan, so the Qiantong town has also been called the first overseas Chinese hometown of china.
    In order to develop and take advantage of the Qiantong Cluture source, Yanshan county succesfully conducted the first Qiantong art festival in may of 1993, and got the finite designation of Qiantong town. They elected a monument for the Qiantong Cluture written by Zhaopuchu (a famous community leader)with the name of a thousand children in Qin Dynasty, acted the traditional folk art-Qiantong Xinzi. In may of 1997, Yanshan county also succesfully conducted the second Qiantong art festival, and made the ceremony for Qiantong ancestral halls completion which was autographed by Chengsiyuan, a famous community leader. Qiantong ancestral hall has become worship holyland for Japanese and Korean friends.
    In December of 2000, the Qiantong museum has been completed and open to public, which was autographed by Pengchong and Zhaopuchu respectively, both of whom are famous community leaders. The Qiantong museum has received more than 170 Japanese and Korean visitors in more than 20 batches, as the Qiantong Cluture source got further developed. Many related books and articles were published such as The fountainhead of the friendly relations between China and Japan. Almost 2 million was donated, which was used to research and develop the Qiantong Cluture .special topic film for Qiantong Cluture were shot, and shown on CCTV and Japan related TVs, which has publicized Cangzhou Qiantong Cluture powerfully. The Yuanfu freedom seance of Japan has donated money to eastablish the Qiantong town school for friendly relations between China and Japan, which has raised Cangzhous popularity and also made the the Qiantong Cluture source well developed and publicized.
